About Snetterton Circuit

Official name: Snetterton 200 Circuit
Location & opening: Near Snetterton, Norfolk, England, on a former WWII airfield — opened in 1953.
Length & turns: Snetterton 200 layout: 3.219 km (2.000 mi) with 8 turns — a shorter configuration that cuts through to the Bentley Straight, skipping the infield section (Montreal hairpin, Brundle, Nelson) used on the 300 circuit.
Notable features: A flat, fast, and flowing circuit with long straights (including the Norwich Straight) that reward slipstreaming and late braking. Popular for endurance and touring car racing thanks to its wide, open layout and generous run-off.
Capacity & grade: Total capacity around 120,000; regularly hosts national and international series including the BTCC and British GT.
Lap record (F3): Snetterton 200 lap record: 1:06.572 — Chris Dittmann (Dallara F312) in 2017.

Snetterton was built on the site of a former USAAF/RAF airfield used during WWII.
It's one of the UK's oldest continuously used racing circuits, with racing dating back to the early 1950s.
The 200 layout is a shorter variant of the full Snetterton 300 circuit, cutting through to the Bentley Straight and skipping the infield section.
